Bits and pieces.

Lately my thoughts have been coherently confusing chaos. My mind has been a menagerie of musings (and alliterations).

Here is a list of random ramblings, and I mean random:

- The older I get and the more I learn the more I see that I have much to learn.

- I can’t believe that in a couple of months I will be 21. (side note: I really want to go to Disneyland for my birthday.)

- It is overwhelming to think that I am starting a completely new chapter of my life in less than two months.

-I can’t wait to see my family.

-Besides being reunited with my family and friends there are three things I am looking forward to the most: Mexican food, driving, and warm weather.

- As I reflect on this year I am amazed at just how blessed I have been.

- Leaving is hard. I’m terrible with goodbyes.

- I want to make pretty things.

- I’d really like to know God more.

- I have been really challenged by scripture a lot lately. My prayer is that what I believe will be what others see.

-  Why does the church settle so much?

- The fact that my life is not my own is so liberating.

- God is faithful, always.

- Ireland is going to be a lot of fun.

- I miss trips to Mexico.

- Is it weird that when I was younger I had a crush on Robin Hood, (the Disney version)?

- I have decided that being a parent is possibly the most amazingly terrifying thing anyone can do.

- I am so blessed to have such godly parents who always point me back to truth.

- Hannah is living in an apartment in Berkeley, Naomi is now a senior, Shiloh is no longer a freshman, Johnna is in in highschool, Joelle is in middle school, and Bethany isn’t a baby anymore. Where has the time gone? My sisters are growing up too fast.

- It has been three years since I graduated high school, weird.

- One of my favourite things is when I type things into google and google finishes my sentence. For some reason it makes me feel like I’m part of something bigger.

- I’m really sad that I’m missing the San Diego County fair.

- Lately I have burned everything I’ve cooked, including toast. I am going to make a great wife!

- Blogs are a strange thing.

- Exmouth has grown on me. I am really going to miss this town.

- If he were still alive I would totally invite C.S. Lewis to dinner.

- I really miss Hume.

- When I grow up I hope to be like my mom.

- I want to talk about Christ more. I seem to waste a lot of time talking about things that mean nothing in comparison.

- I miss long drives and deep conversations.

- I should be doing my course work.

So, there you have it. Some random Ariel babble for your Friday.
